  • Overview

    Support AMS and customers with the review and validation of customer acquisition packages.


    • Work directly with customers to help receive new requests for assisted acquisitions and to expeditiously review customer acquisition packages for completeness, clarity, soundness, and accuracy
    • Review interagency agreements, performance work statements, independent Government cost estimates, acquisition plans, market research, proposal evaluation criteria, instructions to offerors, and justifications for limiting competition
    • Reviewers shall coordinate with Team Leaders to ensure new assisted acquisitions are assigned to the correct procurement staff member
    • Communicate directly with procurement support personnel to ensure customers are aware of the transition of their acquisition from the reviewer to the procurement staff member, and that customer needs and expectations are met
    • Perform peer reviews on files and documentation prepared by procurement support personnel for quality assurance/quality control when needed
    • Review solicitations, contract/order awards, post-award files, and other procurement documents


    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • Possess knowledge and skills commensurate with the position necessary to analyze an acquisition package and, based on the anticipated acquisition strategy, identify missing/incomplete documents
      • Ability to work closely and professionally with customers, and communicate issues with procurement staff, Contracting Officers, and other AMS personnel
      • Ability to complete acquisition packages to permit the efficient processing of the acquisition by the procurement support staff

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Contract Administrator
