  • Overview

    Perform routine administration activities to government contracting team.


    • Solicitation:
      • Work closely with governmental program offices
      • Ensure adequacy of requirement documents (i.e., SOW/PWS/BOM)
      • Assist in developing draft Request for Quotes (RFQs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and/or Combined Synopsis/Solicitations for CO approval
      • Assist in the release of solicitations by electronic posting, email, fax or mail upon approval by the CO
      • Assist Development of acquisition planning/milestone charts in concert with program offices
    • Pre-Award Documentation and Source Selection:
      • Assist with source selection procedures, working with technical evaluation panels, developing evaluation templates and instructions
      • Assist in Ensuring that Conflict of Interest/Nondisclosure forms are signed, with files prepared for the pre-award decisions are complete, neat, and organized in accordance with the customer’s policy, and properly organized to facilitate post-award reviews and administration
    • Contract Award:
      • Assist in preparing final contract award documents for task and delivery orders and stand-alone contracts, and COR designation letters
      • Assist in obtaining legal concurrence as necessary
      • Distribute contract to appropriate parties
      • Input award data into contract writing systems, running appropriate FPDS interfaces
      • Assist in preparing draft award announcements for electronic posting and draft Congressional Notifications in accordance with FAR and DFARS requirements and local guidance
    • Documentation Support:
      • Provide assistance in coordinating requirements documents
      • Research acquisitions for similar services
    • Post-Award Contract Administration:
      • Assist in preparing appropriate documentation for contract modifications which do not require negotiation, including the exercise of options
      • Assist in monitor contractor compliance with terms of the contract working with COR on performance issues as necessary
      • Review invoices (including tracking fund status management), coordinate with program personnel for receipt and acceptance of contract deliverables when necessary, and recommend to the CO whether payment should be authorized


    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
    • Required Knowledge/Experience:
      • Experience in assisting with planning, pre-award, award, and post award activities for varied and complex requirements, contracts, modifications and associated supporting documents
      • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Prism, and Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG)

    Other Responsibilities

    • Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Contract Administrator
